Annual Meeting/Business of the Year
The Chamber's Annual Dinner Meeting attracts over 800 attendees. This yearly
dinner honors 4 businesses. The first award goes to a company with 50 or fewer
employees. Other awards are presented to a company with over 50 employees, a
community involvement award, a Non Profit Award, and a Special Award for Volunteer
of the Year. New board members are welcomed and retiring Board members are recognized.

Business After Hours
business network mixer is held four to five times per year. The host company
sponsors this event, at their business location, by providing food and beverages
for approximately 100-150 attendees. This is a great chance to showcase your
company and its facilities. The Chamber will promote the event in our newsletter,

Chamber Business Show
Attracting over 7,000 people, this is the largest trade show in New York State
outside of New York City. This event has been sold-out for the last five years
with 450 exhibitors. Many levels of sponsorship are available, with different

This annual event takes place in August and draws over 1000 members. It is
a great opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere. Call 470-1870 for details.
Economic Champions Celebration
A luncheon to celebrate the successes of Central New York businesses. Attended
by 500-600 people. Call 470-1870 for details.
Economic Forecast Luncheon
This event, held in January, features speakers who give their perspective
on the national economy. As a result of meeting with local business people from
various sectors, a local forecast is also presented. Attendance averages between
500-600 people. Call 470-1870 for details.
This yearly event draws over 225 avid golfers every June. A special dinner and awards ceremony follows the event (morning and afternoon tee times). Multiple sponsorship levels are available. Call (315) 470-1870 for details.
Government Relations Issues Conference
Sponsorships for this yearly event range from $200 up to several thousand dollars. Multiple sponsors underwrite costs of the conference such as guest speakers travel, lodging & food, hospitality and wine with dinner; event memento, and other out-of-pocket expenses. Sponsors are featured in the Chamber newsletter, registration information, signage provided by the Chamber, and an announcement at the Chamber Board and Government Relations Committee meetings. Sponsors also receive on free registration for the conference.
Legislative Staff Reception
This event is unique and is held in honor of staffs of local elected officials. Staffers and public officials attend free of charge. Sponsorship underwrites catering, decorations, and memento bearing the sponsor, MACNY and Chamber logos. Sponsor credit is given in the Chamber newsletter and on the reception invitations themselves. Sponsor guests attend free of charge. Cost of sponsorship is $500.
Our quarterly member mixers are a great networking opportunity and are always
lots of fun. Each event has a special theme, such as our Octoberfest mixer in
October, and attendance is free to all members. Delicious foods and drink are
served and the events feature some special entertainment and a mini-trade show.
Attendance averages between 200-300 guests. Cost of sponsorship for one of our

Programs to present speakers featuring relevant topics to the community business. Cost of sponsorship is $1,500. In return, your company will gain the following benefits:

You can deliver your message to literally thousands of local businessmen and women by placing an advertisement in the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce newsletter - Chamber News which is mailed to over 3,500 businesses each month. 1/4 page, 1/2 page and full page insertions are available; $250 for 1/4 page, $450 for 1/2 page and $795 for full page.
