Buy Locally Committee

Buy Locally is a program of the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. Its purpose is to build awareness of local products and services, improve marketing skills and opportunities and increase the sales of goods and services leaving the Central New York economy (thats more than $300 million!) whenever price, quality and service are equivalent (or superior) to out of town suppliers.
The program, its logos, and volunteer participation on the committee are available
free of charge to any Chamber member. Just call the Chamber at (315) 470-1870
to request a camera-ready logo slick, stickers or poster. Or download the Buy
Locally logo right here. (Control
click or right click to save the image to your hard drive).
Corporate representatives and purchasing managers are invited and encouraged
to volunteer for the Buy Locally Committee currently co-chaired by by Brian Carr
of Time Warner and Jutta Fowler of Commercial Maintenance. The committee meets
at lunchtime, at Chamber Headquarters, on the 4th Monday of each month.
Buying local products and services keeps your spending dollars and those of your company circulating through our economy instead of exporting these resources to another community in another state, or even another country.
