Letter From The President

This is an exciting time for all of us here at the Chamber. I’m very encouraged by what’s been happening with our local economy over the last several years.
As we look ahead to the challenges and opportunities that will shape the economic climate of our community in the future, it is my firm belief that one of our greatest strengths will be our ability to benefit from advances in technology.

Working with our outstanding area universities, and in partnership with community resources such as the Syracuse Center of Excellence, we will find ways to transfer cutting-edge research and development to commercial applications. Existing local business will be at the forefront of this transformation.

While this continued economic success will be Good, what makes Syracuse special is that we don’t settle for Good…we strive for Great! Achieving Greatness is a journey…and all of us at the Chamber are glad to be on that journey with the business, government and community leaders of Greater Syracuse!

I pledge that your Chamber will continue to play a leading role in creating an even brighter economic future for our community. I look forward to working with all of you to achieve that goal. Thank you for all you do!
