If your business is facing a technical challenge, the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) wants to help.

Our Service: SATOP can offer up to 40 hours of FREE technical assistance to small businesses (up to 500 employees), utilizing the vast engineering expertise of NASA and our Alliance Partners.

Expertise: Our areas of expertise include mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, process, materials, structural, chemical, electrical, and environmental engineering. We aim to solve challenges which cannot be addressed by commercially available services.

Who benefits: SATOP is open to all types of small businesses (up to 500 employees), as well as entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, and inventors. We help not only industrial, and high-tech businesses, but also low-tech and non-technical businesses.

Cost: FREE! SATOP is funded by a grant from NASA, and is designed to speed the transfer of US Space Program knowledge to the private sector, and to encourage economic growth. The Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce manages SATOP for all of New York State.
